Our houseboats are designed to provide our guests with all the comforts of home.
The boats are in a great location on the historical Sheffield and Tinsley Canal built in 1819.
There are many historical buildings relating to the canal's industrial past.

Our Houseboat Hotels are in a great location for visiting the theatre's (Crucible and Lyceum) that are only a 10 min walk away, along with Sheffield City Centre and Sheffield Rail Station.
There are also numerous Galleries and museums and Meadowhall Shopping centre is only 3 miles away.
Houseboat Hotels is a short stroll from the heart of the city yet a perfect private location for business or leisure stays. Free parking permit is available.
Our Boats
Our two boats are called Laila Mai and Millie Grace, both are 42ft long by 10ft in width. In a previous life, they were used as hire boats for canal cruises before being renovated and fitted out to become our quirky house boat accommodation. The boats are very light and airy with plenty of windows for ventilation and natural light, and warm air central heating systems for those frosty seasons.
Each boat has two bedrooms which features lights for reading, a flatscreen TV, and under-bed storage. They also have a bathroom that contains a shower at the corner, an electric flush toilet, and a sink. Within the kitchen you'll find all necessary cutlery, crockery and utensils.
The galley features a raised dinette that can change into a double bed for extra sleeping space. The main living areas of the boat has a plush sofa, TV, music system and bi-fold front doors which lead to the bow of the boat, where there is a small canopy to take shelter from the weather if you wish to relax in the open. You can also find a small local information guide on board to help you plan your itinerary.

The boats are fully insured with valid safety certificates and owner's certificates in addition to fire extinguishers, fire blankets, carbon monoxide alarms, lifebelts, and fire alarms.
