Sheffield Cathedral
This magnificent structure is the oldest building in Sheffield. It has been recognised as a Cathedral since 1914 but it has Christian history from as far back as 1000 years ago. Sheffield Winter Garden
Attached to the Millennium Gallery is one of the largest temperate glasshouses built in the UK. It has a vast collection of over 2,500 plants from all around the world. Sheffield & Tinsley Canal
The Sheffield & Tinsley Canal is a 4-mile stretch of flowing water that branches from river Don to join Victoria Quays. It cuts through the city centre and makes its way to Tinsley. People find it refreshing to walk beside the canal enjoying the peaceful water and pleasant smell of nature.
You can also decide to go on a short cruise along the canal. They are usually arranged by various companies on small boats that are able to navigate the canal but luxurious enough to make you comfortable.
